Meet the Orthodontist
Dr. Barbara Fodero
Dr. Barbara Fodero grew up in the small town of Greenville, Michigan. She graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Indiana University with a B.S. in Biology. She attended the University of Michigan for her doctorate degree in dentistry, graduating number one in her dental class. Dr. Fodero continued on at the University of Michigan to receive a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics. She received the Harry Sicher First Research Essay Award for her masters thesis, and is proud to have graduated from a school that has consistently been ranked as one of the top orthodontic programs in the country.
Dr. Fodero opened her office in Chatham with the goal of creating an orthodontic practice that prides itself on quality orthodontic care in a fun and family-oriented environment. By maintaining a smaller practice, she is able to spend more time answering questions and addressing concerns with each and every patient. Dr. Fodero continues to attend numerous courses and seminars on the practice of orthodontics to bring her patients the latest techniques and treatments. She offers orthodontic treatment for children and adults, with metal and clear braces, as well as Invisalign.
Dr. Fodero has been selected by patients as "Favorite Kids' Docs" in New Jersey Family Magazine in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
She currently resides in Florham Park and is the mother of two boys, ages 4 and 6.
