Meet the Orthodontist
Dr. Barbara Fodero
Dr. Barbara Fodero has been making beautiful smiles in New Jersey and Michigan for nearly a decade. After several years of practicing as an associate in Sussex and Morris counties and prior to that, in Michigan, she has settled in Florham Park with her husband and two sons and has opened her practice in Chatham.
Dr. Fodero (formerly Skinner) was raised in the small town of Greenville, Michigan. She graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She attended the University of Michigan for her doctorate degree in dentistry, graduating number one in her dental class. It was during her dental education that she met her husband, Dr. Joseph Fodero, a native of Livingston, who brought her to the area.
Dr. Barbara Fodero continued on at the University of Michigan to receive a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics. She received the Harry Sicher First Research Essay Award for her master’s thesis, and is proud to have graduated from a school that has consistently been ranked as one of the top orthodontic programs in the country.
Dr. Fodero opened her office in Chatham with the goal of creating an orthodontic practice that prides itself on quality orthodontic care for children and adults in a fun and family-oriented environment. By maintaining a smaller practice, she is able to spend more time answering questions and addressing concerns with each and every patient. Dr. Fodero continues to attend numerous courses and seminars on the practice of orthodontics to bring her patients the latest techniques and treatments. She and her staff look forward to meeting you and giving you a beautiful smile.
